We are a seasonal operation and we hire new staff for full and part-time positions each year. Currently, all of our guides have many years of experience. The requirements for guiding for Solitude Float Trips are specific to Solitude Float Trips and also adhere to strict requirements of Grand Teton National Park and necessitate various certifications provided to our guides by Solitude Float Trips through sanctioned entities. Because the training is extensive we ask for longer commitments from our guides.
Our driver positions are a fun way to spend a summer, so many of our drivers return as well. Commercial driver’s licenses are not required to drive 15 passenger vans. We do require a clean driving record, and a friendly responsible person for this position. Drivers must be able to provide assistance loading and unloading people into our vans and rafts. Among other duties drivers also assist guides rigging, and take out and launching rafts.
Office personnel must be friendly personable and demonstrate nominal computer skills. Office employees primarily reserve float trips and answer questions for our guests. The office staff also stages the schedules for the following day along with other assorted responsibilities.
We offer a safe, fun, working environment. We also run background checks on all employees. If you are interested in being part of Solitude’s Team we welcome you to fill out an application. Solitude Float Trips is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
